The Style menu allows you to deeply personalize the visual appearance of Simple UI, letting you change everything from the system icons to the typography.

To access these settings, open the top KOReader menu and navigate to Simple UI → Style.

1. Icons Configuration

Simple UI lets you replace almost any navigation icon in the interface. To do this manually, go to Style → Icons.

• System Icons: Change individual icons for core UI elements. This includes the Title Bar buttons (Menu, Search, Back), Library Browse buttons, Pagination Chevrons (Previous, Next, First, Last), and the Collections Back button.
• Quick Actions Icons: Change the icon for any built-in or custom Quick Action. When selecting an icon, you can type a hexadecimal code for a Nerd Font symbol, or pick a custom .svg or .png image that you have placed inside the simpleui/sui_icons/ folder on your device.
• Reset All System Icons: Instantly removes all custom icons and reverts everything back to the default Simple UI look.

2. Icon Packs

Instead of changing icons one by one, you can apply complete themes using Icon Packs.

• Install pack from ZIP...: Tap this to browse your device and select an Icon Pack .zip file. Simple UI will automatically extract and install it into the sui_icons/packs/ folder.

• Applying a Pack: Once installed, the pack will appear in the list. Tap its name to instantly apply the new icons across the interface (no restart required).

• Note: Icon packs only replace the icons they include. Any other icons will keep their current look.

How to Create Your Own Icon Pack

Creating a custom icon pack is straightforward. An icon pack is simply a .zip archive containing your .svg (recommended) or .png image files.

File Naming Conventions

To ensure Simple UI automatically maps your images to the correct interface elements, you must name your files according to the following slots:

• Titlebar Buttons: sui_menu.svg, sui_search.svg, sui_back.svg
• Library Browse Buttons: sui_browse_normal.svg, sui_browse_author.svg, sui_browse_series.svg, sui_browse_tags.svg
• Pagination Chevrons: sui_pager_prev.svg, sui_pager_next.svg, sui_pager_first.svg, sui_pager_last.svg
